Possible Spaces is a forum for the presentation of phonographic works including straight field
recordings, soundscape compositions, solo and collective improvisations. It attempts to engage
the audience in an investigation of sound as art, our relationship to our sound environment,
and an awareness of acoustic ecology. The importance of human hearing is often overshadowed
by our current visual preoccupation. Possible Spaces attempts to help reconnect us with and
retrain us to decipher the information provided by our sound environment.
